Students receive comprehensive training under a new Province of Ontario plan to consolidate Health Care Aid and three levels of PSW training. Students require dexterity skills and will also develop skills ranging from managing households and meal preparation to knowledge of personal hygiene, assistance with medications, and abuse and safety issues. Faculty includes Registered Nurses who instruct and supervise the course.
